I'm 38 weeks pregnant now. I had an appointment yesterday and baby love is at a -2 position, I'm 2 cm dilated and effaced 50%. I'm also measuring at 40 weeks instead of 38. Yikes! Look, I know I've given birth to a 10lb 13oz child before so I know it can be done. I would just prefer not to do it again. The midwife stripped my membranes while I was there, but obviously I'm still here.
Here's something to look at while you are waiting with me. Darren took these next two pictures for me.
This one of Elijah was taken a few Saturday's ago. We love a good rain storm around here. Playing in it beats watching Saturday morning cartoons anyday.

Can't wait to see what this guy will look at. And I'd be lying if I didn't say I can't wait to see if he's small like Elijah, or more of a Parker size boy!

Heidi the pictures are so cute. I love the second one with all the kidos hands SO CUTE! Also I hope he isn't giant like Parker for your sake although I love me a chunky baby. I can't wait to see the little guy. I'm going to make the trip somehow to come see you. Love you tons!
I love the pictures, Darren's come a long way from the "camera strap dangling in the picture" days :) You look great and good luck! Here's hoping this one's downsized to atleast 9lbs or less.

You know, after Chris was born (and was 9lb 12oz) the others were all easy. So after your almost 11 pounder, I think you'll be fine!
And just think, the bigger the baby, the more weight you lose right off the bat! :-)

This little guys will come when ready. In the meantime, just enjoy the "quiet" before you add another guy to the household. Darren did a great job with those pictures, cute ideas.
Those are GREAT pictures! So sweet! I'm so glad little Spencer Chase is here! I can NOT wait to meet him. If only Shane wasn't going out tonight for missionary stuff, I would SO be there. Hope to hug you and hold little Spencer soon!
