A conversation with Parker yesterday...
Parker: Mom how does the baby get out? Does it come out of your bum?
Me: Well kind of Parker, but not exactly.
Parker: Does it squeeze out of your little pee hole?
Me: No.
Parker: Then does it come out of your poop hole?
Me: No sweetheart. Girls have three holes and one of them is connected to the place where the baby is living right now.
Parker: Do I have three holes mom?
Me: No Parker, only girls have three. That's why mom's have the babies. Do that make sense?
Parker: No not really.
So I looked up pregnancy stages on the internet, found a diagram of what our baby looks like right now inside me and showed Parker how each hole had different tubes to different places in my body. He got a good laugh at how the baby was squishing the bladder in the picture and why that would make me have to go to the bathroom all of the time.
Fast forward to the dinner table...
Parker: (to Darren and Alexia) Did you know that mom has a pee tube, a poop tube and a baby tube?
We seriously need to work on our table manners around here.

That is freaking hilarious!! I don't know what is funnier, that he said it at the dinner table or imagining the look on Darren's face!! All I can think about it what Parker said to me when we were in Oregon!
"Baby Wilvia will come out your pee-bottom"
Oh gosh I love that kid!!
HAHAHA! Thanks for the laugh today!
That's cute...and soon you might just have to have that conversations with everyone in your house. =) Good luck with that.
Too funny! We've had that conversation plenty a times around here and I LOVE how they come up with their own ways of interpretation!!
I am just waiting for the day when I can talk about female things at the dinner table and make my three older boys cringe. :)
Yes, I'm cracking up right now! I'm scared to death of that conversation coming eventually at our house. Thanks for sharing.
Oh my goodness I laughed so hard and of course I had to share this with my fellow employees. Great stuff. I love that kid and the funny stuff that he says.
A great post. Very funny. I just show the kids their birth videos...no more questions.
I am laughing! That was funny!
Oh my gosh I was laughing so hard but and ofcourse I should not be reading this at the store. But it was to good not to share with all my employees. What am I going to say when it is my turn. I totally agree with Megan I wish I could have seen Darren's face. I love you Darren but you sometimes are just as dramatic as me.
I'm not so sure we can have a third kid -- I don't want to have to try to explain all this to Gatlin! I think you did a pretty good job by the way!
Holy Crap!! That is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time!! I am fully laughing! Thanks for sharing that!!
