I know it's late, but yes we did dress up and beg for candy again this year. Well not
we, but you know what I mean. This year we went for the "Mom's working, and she's tired, and she's not making costumes this year so what do you have in your closet that will work?" approach. So... after only one short trip to the sewing machine we ended up with Cinderella, a knight, and a cowboy. Parker really wanted Elijah to be a dragon so he could save Alexia from him but alas, there are no dragons in our closets.

Here the kids are standing by their respective jack-o-lanterns.
This is them getting ready for the annual sort-o-
thon.

That post about the sustaining votes on Sunday made me laugh out loud! Your kids are so funny...and cute of course. Love the Halloween costumes too.
I have to agree with Jenni Nichols. I was cracking up about the Sunday story; totally cute. You also did a great job with the costumes. I don't think our closets are filled with such fun stuff!
Your kids costumes were adorable. I didn't spend a cent on ours either and it was so nice. Is the candy gone yet?
way to be thrifty! and they look adorable.
