Wuv One Anudder

Today at church a teacher came to tell me that Parker, my four year old, had been in the way when a little girl in his class threw up. She told me that he was still in his class but had big tears rolling down his cheeks. I rushed off to find him and he was gone from the classroom when I got there. One of his teachers told me that my friend Sister Steere had taken him to clean up. I found him after a few minutes and we headed home.

Parker told Lexi all about it in the van and for the next couple of minutes all we heard was, "Ewww gross!", "That's disgusting!", "Yuck she barfed on you!" I finally told her that was enough. Sister Steer had been nice and helped clean him up so it wasn't a big deal anymore. Parker finished the conversation this way...

"Sides Lexi, today we learned about wuvin' one anudder and Sister Steere was just wuvin' me up one anudder."

Man, that is why I'm in love with this kid.

Ha, ha, that is too cute and too funny-- I love it! Although I do have to side with Lexi on the "Eww!" factor.

What a nice primary teacher! And how great is it that Parker actually applied what she was trying to teach?!? You'll be glad you wrote that one down. So cute.

Thanks for the nice comments about me ('Sister Steere'), but I gotta say that it was his teacher that did all the cleaning up -- I just helped him wash his hands. But I SOOO love this story. I love the way Parker talks!
